The passing of Queen Elizabeth II

8 September 2022

A Statement from the Chair of the Parish Council Cllr. Lester Powell on the death of Her Majesty the Queen:

Bramford Parish Council is deeply saddened at the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during this historic year which marks the Queen’s 70th Anniversary as our Monarch.

Her Majesty was known throughout the world for her tireless and steadfast service and devotion to her people. The 70 years of Her Majesty’s reign have seen some of the most profound changes in human history. Her Majesty has been a constant symbol of hope for people around the world, particularly in Britain.

Most of us alive today will not know life without Her Majesty as our Head of State and it is right that we come together as a nation to pay tribute to and remember this beloved Monarch.

On behalf of Bramford Parish Council, I express our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the Royal family at this very sad time.

The survey closes on 31st July 2022 @ 11:59pm.  Officers from both Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils are working on developing the councils first ever parking strategy.  This is an opportunity for residents to feedback their parking issues & concerns they have in the local area.

To ensure that the strategy is relevant and meets the Mid Suffolk District Council aims both now and, in the future, there are several recommended actions that they are consulting on.
