Location: Loraine Victory Hall and Parish Room
We have something for all the community to take part in everyday of the four-day UK bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June, bringing everyone together to celebrate this milestone of 70 years of the Queen’s service.
7pm: Horse Racing Night at the Loraine Victory Hall. Funds raised will go to the Bramford Scout Group.
9.15pm: Platinum Jubilee Beacon at St. Mary’s Church. The lighting of the Church Tower.
1pm: Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving a St Mary’s Church. All welcome to this family service.
2pm: Teddy Bear Parachute at St Mary’s Church. Bring your bear with a homemade parachute ready to be launched from the church tower. Earn a certificate for taking part. Climb the church tower and enjoy the spectacular view and enjoy some homemade refreshments. Funds raised to St Mary’s Church and Belfry Fund.
1.30pm: Jubilee Fun Day at the village hall and village hall green and carpark. Stalls and activities supporting various charities. Fun for all the family a delicious BBQ, teas and homemade cakes, etc.
6pm: Music Festival. Live bands will perform at the free event for all to enjoy.
Noon: Traditional Street Party. Tables and chairs will be set up for people to come together for lunch. Dress up in red, white, and blue. Bring a plate of food to share.
