Yearly Round up

In 2024 BPC have worked hard again to help keep Bramford village a great place to live:

v  The bridge in Bramford and surrounding area has been planted with shrubs and bulbs. Lets wait for spring to see this!

v  The Victory Hall was 100 years old earlier this year and the people of Bramford were awarded a 'Certificate of Gratitude and Recognition' from the High Sheriff of Suffolk in appreciation of everyone's hard work and dedication which enhances community life in our village.

v  In April, the new 8B bus route was launched which links Bramford to Ipswich town centre. This is a great service to have.  Please use this service to make sure this remains.

v  A new pump track was opened in late April at the playing fields. This is for all types of wheels and for all ages. This is a fantastic facility for a small village.

v  Bramford allotments remain full and many people from the village use these to grow their own produce, this is good to see.

v  BPC have been proactive planting many trees (hundreds) in and around the village, in the community orchard, on the meadows, in the churchyard and many more near the B1113.

v  Bramford Fun Day was a success as always, thanks to all involved.

v  The village litter pick became a regular event, happening roughly every two months. Thanks to all who have got involved during the year to help make Bramford a tidy village.

v  Eustace Broke Loraine Trust was open to applications again this year to give small donations to Bramford children going on to higher education.

v  The village Christmas tree was a great focal point for a carol sing-a-long on Christmas Eve. Lots of families came and enjoyed the singing and mulled wine.

v  The Rural Coffee Van still comes on the third Monday of every month. This is a place to meet new people. One Monday earlier this year a new table tennis club was formed.
