Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Suffolk

Suffolk County Council message cascader campaign

Suffolk County Council are highlighting the importance of local councils signing up to this campaign. They highlighted this campaign a couple of weeks ago but this is very much a call to action.  In the current climate it has never been more important for all agencies and stakeholders involved in local government, voluntary, charitable and the social enterprise sector to work together.  Local councils are a critical link to our local communities and your feedback from the SCC needs poll in May highlighted above anything else that you wanted clear, up to date and consistent information you can use to help local people. The 'be a message cascader' campaign provides the opportunity for local people to share key messages about COVID-19. we are asking you to share the messages with your communities and family, friends and colleagues in order to ensure they have the most up to date information available and to help avoid the confusion some people are feeling.

Anyone can be a 'message campaigner' and you can sign up to the distribution list by emailing message.cascaders@suffolk.gov.uk. You will receive details of key messages and supporting information graphics in a format you can use on website, social media or to print off. They will also be available in a range of languages and will be available on Suffolk County Council's dedicated COVID-19 information page https://www.suffolk.gov.uk/coronavirus-covid-19/.

The more people we reach the more we can help keep our communities safe - these messages will help remind everyone how to do that.
